Punchestown - Aes Champion Four Year Old Hurdle grade 1 2m. Down Royal - Wkd Hurdle grade 2 2m. He looks great and is moving very well. A rated hurdler, he is unbeaten in a point-to-point, four starts in bumpers and four starts over hurdles.
He goes novice chasing and is obviously hugely exciting. The intention is to start him off in a maiden chase at Down Royal later this month. A winning point-to-pointer, he won a bumper at Navan in January prior to finishing fifth in the Champion Bumper at the Cheltenham Festival.
He made a winning hurdling debut at Punchestown earlier today and I was very happy with him. He should stay two-and-a-half miles. We are going to stay hurdling with him.
Our plan is to run him in a Grade 3 novice chase at Cork in early-November and then put him away with a view to sending him straight to the National Hunt Chase at the Cheltenham Festival.
He has an ideal profile for the race, and we are all happy for him to go down that route. Made a winning debut in a point-to-point at Borris House in March prior to joining Elliott.
There is a Grade 3 hurdle at Galway next week that looks like a good starting point for him. He is a real galloper that will handle testing ground.
He has recently joined Elliott from Pat Kelly. Watching it back again, he was running very well in the Gold Cup when he fell.
We are looking towards the Ladbrokes Champion Chase at Down Royal to start him off in. Longer term, he could be one for the Grand National. A winning point-to-pointer, she finished third in the Champion Bumper at the Cheltenham Festival last season and made a winning hurdling debut at Fairyhouse in October.
She made a winning hurdling debut the other day and probably did quite well as she was well short of peak fitness. I loved the way she put her head down and fought when she had to.
We tried a few different things and got him back right last season. A lovely, straightforward horse with a great attitude and I would hope that he will do well as a novice hurdler this season.
He won two bumpers last season as well as posting a couple of respectable efforts behind Envoi Allen and when he gets the chance to step up a little in trip and go jumping he will really come into his own.
I'm hoping he will at least be graded class this winter. Things just didn't go right for this mare last season and after a very good second to Min in the Durkan Chase she wasn't at her best although I did think she ran much better than her ninth in the Gold Cup would suggest.
She was probably one of those horses that was inconvenienced by the dry winter as she wants ease in the ground to be at her best.
I do believe that she can still win an open Grade 1 over fences when things fall her way and she will be campaigned in quality chases throughout the season.
On his day he is a very talented sort as he showed when winning the Pertemps Final at Cheltenham last March. I have to speak to J.
McManus, owner and Frank Berry about whether we stick to handicap hurdles or whether we go chasing with him.
Either way he will hopefully have another good season. She's a very smart mare and will be contender for all those decent mares hurdles between two and two-and-a-half miles this season.
I only got to run her three times last season but she showed good form each time and finished her season with a good third in a Grade 1 at Leopardstown in February.
I think she can progress on what she has shown so far and there's a great range of races for her throughout the winter. She might start back in the middle of November.
He's an exciting type. He worked like a good horse last spring and when he went to Navan for his bumper I was hoping that he would be hard to beat and he won nicely from another decent horse of ours.
He is a winning point-to-pointer so there should be more to come from him as a jumper and he's always shown us a touch of class in his work which would suggest that he should make up into a decent novice.
I'd be hoping to have him back for a maiden hurdle in November. He won a Grade 1 for us as a novice chaser but he was probably caught between two stools last season and ended up facing some very stiff tasks in top company.
In a few of those races he did show up well and I thought that he ended his season with a very creditable run behind Kemboy and Al Boum Photo.
I've an open mind as to what direction we take with him this season. He could well be a horse to aim at the Grand National and we could always try him back over hurdles for a while so I'm not sure which way we will go with him.
The fact he didn't win over fences last season will give him plenty of opportunities in various conditions chases. New players only. New UK customers only.

He is back riding out and you saw him this morning. He is the one horse I would be nervous about going to Cheltenham with. It would not be a shock if I kept him at home.
If that happens, there is chance Champagne Classic might switch to the RSA. In the Pertemps Network Final, we will probably run The Storyteller and Sire du Berlais, who won it last year.
Sire du Berlais will probably wear blinkers. The Storyteller had a nice prep for it at Leopardstown [finished 6th in a qualifier] and has won at Cheltenham before.
He is just a very hard horse to place because he has been running in all those good races over fences the last couple of years.
He is a speed horse and the one worry I would have is if it came up very soft. I am not sure he would be as effective on Heavy ground as he would on Good to Soft.
At the moment, he is going for the Ballymore, but he could be my only other runner in the Supreme if it came up very soft.
There would have to heavy in the going description for him to switch. Keith [Donoghue] rides him everyday and could not be happier.
He missed the Dublin Racing Festival as well as he'd already had three runs over hurdles and I did not think there was much to gain by going there.
He may have a go in a schooling hurdle over the next 10 days. He has done it himself by winning three G1s. I don't talk about any horse; it is you guys [the media] who talk about them.
We don't hype them up, but we think he is a very good horse. I suppose if you win seven out of seven, people are inclined to talk about you, aren't they?
Even working him, if you paired him with a rated horse, not that we work him to beat another horse, he would only do what he has to do.
Elliott said: "Tiger Roll and Out Sam will run in the Glenfarclas Cross Country Chase. I was very happy with the way Tiger Roll ran on Sunday and, as you saw this morning, he has come out of the race very well.
He would be the one horse we are all looking forward to during Cheltenham week. I thought he showed a lot of zest and jumped very well.
To date he has campaigned at a relatively low key level but he has won three of his four starts and shown enough to suggest he might contend for some big races.
At home he seems a very relaxed and laid back type so while two miles is fine for him I don't think he will have any trouble staying a bit further.
As he is a four-year-old it would make sense to try and keep him to his own age group initially so the Grade 3 Fishery Lane Hurdle at Naas in November and the Grade 2 at Limerick over Christmas would look like two good races to aim towards.
He isn't with us all that long but I'd like what he has been able to show us. Last season was a bit more low key for him than for some of our other novice hurdles but when he last ran he produced a really nice effort to defeat a good horse of Willie's Lord Royal in a Grade 3 at Punchestown in mid-February.
It would have been very interesting to see what would have happened had he not fallen two out in a decent novice hurdle at Thurles in January which was won by Monkfish.
That horse would have been extremely hard to beat on the day but I think our horse would have finished a very good second.
He is a really tough sort and a thorough stayer who he should make a quality staying chaser and he'd look to me like a horse for the likes of either the RSA or the National Hunt Chase.
I'd also expect him to progress very well with racing this season. I would imagine he caught a lot of people's eye when he was an unlucky fifth in last season's Martin Pipe at Cheltenham.
Given how the race unfolded for him I think he did very well to finish fifth. He has point-to-point experience but he is a very young horse still so I think we might keep him to hurdling this season and there is a nice prize to be won with him over two-and-a-half miles or further.
We have a few good handicaps over those trips in Ireland and I'd be hoping he could win one of those and we'll be looking to get back to Cheltenham for something like the Coral Cup.

Gordon Elliott Stable Visit ahead of Cheltenham 1 March ; Trainer Gordon Elliott with Don Cossack, with Simon McGonagle up, at his Butterfly Staxx ahead of the Cheltenham Festival. The obvious target for her after that showing would be the Mares Novice Hurdle back at Cheltenham in March and we will work back from there. There's more to come from him and he could make up into a very nice novice chaser as he's a Casinos In Korea jumper who stays well but I'll talk to his owner Ronnie Bartlett before we settle on plans for the coming months. If everything were to go well at Down Royal, I would imagine that he will look to follow a similar route for the season, initially at least, and the Drinmore would look a logical next step after that. Naas - Fishery Lane Hurdle Grade 3 2m. It took him a while to get into top gear but when he did he won nicely. Visit Unibet. If that happens, there is chance Champagne Classic might switch to the RSA.
